Pastor James
Dr. William James is the Senior Pastor of The Armory Church in Toledo, Ohio where his Father the late Bishop William Morgan James, Sr., was a General Board Member of the Church of God in Christ and the Founder and Pastor of the church where he now serves as pastor. He is married to Nicole and is the proud father of three beautiful children.
William James is an ordained Elder, fourth generation Pentecostal in the Church of God in Christ.
He received his B.A. in Theology from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and his M.A. from Fuller Theological Seminary from Pasadena, California. He holds a Ph.D. in Ethics from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland.He is also a former Associate Pastor at the Potter’s House Ministries, under the leadership of Bishop T. D. Jakes, and the Dean of the Christian Community Institute in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. James worked as an Assistant Adjutant Professor of Ethics in the Graduate School of Theology and Missions at Oral Roberts University.
