Freddy Rodriguez
Freddy Rodriquez was born and raised in the inner city of Chicago. He is no stranger to struggle and tough times. His parents, who were Puerto Rican, often struggled to provide while on welfare and rarely did the family attend church. Freddy was 3 years old when his parents divorced and that begun his plight into an unstable life. Freddy spent his teenage years in Dallas, Texas and there, drugs, gangs and fights became his lifestyle and routine. As his involvement with the wrong crowd grew deeper, Freddy encountered a situation where his life was in danger. He then decided to move back to Illinois to live with his dad.
At the age of 19, Freddy had an incredible encounter with God. He often found his release through music and one day, at a small recording studio, owned by a Christian man, Freddy received the Lord into his heart. This miraculous change sparked a chain reaction in Freddy’s life. He began getting deeply involved with the church and in worship ministry as his relationship with the Lord grew. Freddy eventually became a husband, father and ministry leader.
Freddy’s style of worship easily expressed his ‘realness’ in his relationship with God due to his personal journey. His fan base grew tremendously, drawn to his charisma and energy. After much success and seeing his music career take off, Freddy began ministering to churches and congregations both nationally and internationally, releasing his first album, “Light In the Darkness” with Integrity Music. With his first album under his belt, Freddy desired to produce a collection of songs that was more intimate and more ‘real’ then ever. He is now an artist with Sound of the House, a gospel recording label headed up by Dove and Stella award nominee, Derick Thomas. Through Freddy’s partnership with Sound of the House, he hopes to bring the message of God’s restoration and grace.
Freddy currently serves as music director with Bishop Clarence McClendon, whom he considers a great friend, mentor and confidant.

Pastor Thom Washington
The first recording church on the Sound of the House label.
Singular in its diversity and the power of its expression, in praise ranging from inspirational spirituals to rocking contemporary gospel tunes, the choir fills its members and listeners alike with gladness and gratitude. In 2008, the Cathedral Choir won the Verizon How Sweet The Sound Title of “Best Small Choir in Southern California.” For the past two consecutive years, the Cathedral Choir has been featured on KCET/PBS televised Holiday Celebration, where it was allowed to give a moving tribute to the world in honor of the choir’s original founder, Sis. Yvonne Washington. The choir appeared on NBC Channel 4 news as Fred Roggins Weather Choir, where they sang the forecasts on a regular basis. This choir has been an asset for almost thirty years; not only to the church where it resides, but also to the surrounding community and the Kingdom. Pastor Thom has also led One Voice” Praise Team for the past four years. Under his leadership, One Voice has recorded three anointed and highly successful CDs: The “Elements of Praise”series. “Elements of Praise” has been phenomenally effective in acknowledging and spreading the Hebrew name of our Savior “Yeshua” (Jesus) and the Hebrew name of God,”Yahvah”, through the medium of praise and worship music. One Voice is now referred to their new title, “The Cathedral Voices” and are featured on the soon to be released “Deeper, Higher, Closer” project.
